2 Peter 3:14 says; Be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless. Ellen White comments in today’s devotion in the Reflecting Christ; “The greatest work that can be done in our world is to glorify God by living the character of Christ.” Do you believe that today? Do you feel that the greatest work is reflect the character of Christ to the world? Ellen White wrote this over 140 years ago. If it was necessary then, how much more applicable is it today? We are saved by the blood of Jesus and we must go forward growing in Him. This means studying the Bible and filling your daily life with prayer that contains praise, confession, and intercession. Confession of specific sin allows the blood of Jesus to cleanse us and makes room for the more of the Holy Spirit to dwell. More Spirit and less sin lead to a greater reflection of the character of Christ to the world. Do people see Jesus in you? The people of Israel saw the glory of God shining in the face of Moses after he spent 40 days on Mount Sinai. People will see through your joy, facial expressions, and loving words and actions that you have been with Jesus.
